Negative Feedback Oppose or “negate” a change (such as a drop in temperature) by creating a re-sponse (production of heat) that is opposite in direction to the initial disturbance (fall in temperature below a normal set point).
Cell Membrane "The gate kepper of the cell"- what comes in and out, protects intracellular components from external environment
Nucleus "The brain" of the cell- Contains all genetic material/DNA of the cell.
Endoplasmic Reticulum "The network" of the cell- the transport system of the cell, involved in transporting materials throughout the cell.
Mitochondria "The powerhouse" of the cell- major part of cellular respiration-created ATP and engergy source for the cell
Lysosomes “The Recycling center”of the cell- digestive enzymes within the lysosomes aid the breakdown of proteins, polysaccharides, lipids.
Golgi Aparatus "The post office" of the cell- primarily responsible for transporting, modifying, and packaging proteins and lipids to targeted destinations
Ribosomes "The protein factory" of the cell-primary function is protein synthesis in all living cells that ensure the survival of the cell.
Peroxisome "The Janitor" of the cell- oxidative organelles that have enymes to breakdown waste and cellular components.
ATP Adenosine triphosphate- the major energy source of the cell.
