| Frontal | Front of the skull |
| Temporal | Side of the skull (temple ) |
| Maxilla | The bone around upper-lip area |
| Mandible | Also known as the jaw bone |
| Zygomatic Bones (L+R) | the bone that forms the prominent part of the cheek and the outer side of the eye socket |
| Occipital | Lower back of the skull |
| Pareintal | Bone forming the back left and right half of the skull |
| Sphenoid | Bone in front of temporal but below the frontal bone (small bone) |
| Ethmoid | a square spongy bone at the root of the nose, forming part of the cranium |
| Lacrimal (L+R) | Bone behind the eyes (middle towards the nose |
| Nasal (L+R) | Nose bone |
| Palatine | Forms roof of the mouth (palette) |
| Vomer | Bone at the bottom region behind the eyes |
| Coronal Suture | Suture that goes left to right across the skull |
| Sagittal Suture | Suture that connects to the coronal suture and goes front to back |
| Squamosal suture | Line that connects temporal bone to parietal bone |
| Lambdoid Suture | Line that goes above the occipital bone, connects occipital to parietal |
| Hyoid | bone in the throat right above the larynx |
| Sternum | Irregular bone in middle of chest |
| Rib Cage | All of the ribs |
| True ribs 1-7 | Ribs attached directly to breastbone |
| false ribs 8-10 | Ribs that unite indirectly |
| Floating ribs 11+12 | smallest ribs that are also not directly attached to breastbone |
| Vertebral column | the spine |
| Cervical (C1-C7) | top 1/4th of the spine |
| Thoracic (T1-T12) | Upper middle 1/3rd of the spine after C7 |
| Lumbar (L1-L5) | lower 1/4th of the spine after T12 |
| Sacral (4 fused) | Upper portion of tailbone |
| Coccyx (3-5 fused) | lower portion of tailbone |
| Scapula | Flat triangular shaped bone (shoulder blade) |
| Clavicle | also known as the collarbone |
| Humerus | Upper bone of the arm (bone under the bicep) |
| Radius | Lower portion of the arm (forearm bone) |
| Ulna | Inside bone of the radius when in anatomical position (arms at side thumbs outwards) |
| Carpals | (straight line to pinky here comes the thumb) |
| Scapoid | Lowest bone of the wrist below the thumb |
| Lunate | Lowest bone of the wrist (in middle by the connection of radius and ulna |
| Triquetrum | smallest bone in wrist beside the lunate |
| Pisiform | bone that sits on top of triquetrum |
| Hamate | Bone above the pisiform and triquetrum |
| Capitate | 2nd Largest bone in the wrist that sits above the raduis |
| Trapezoid | Largest bone in the wrist below the middle finger |
| trapezuim | Bone that is above the capitalate (L) |
| Metacarpals | Bone that is above the capitalate (R) |
| Phalanges | fingers/digits |
| Pelvis | middle part of the human body |
| `Illium | Largest bones in the pelvis (bowl like bones |
| Ischium | Bone below the illium |
| Pubis | pubic bone in the middle of the pelivs (L+R) |
| Femur | Thigh bone |
| Patella | Also known as a knee cap |
| Tibia | Also known as a calf bone (makes up the inside portion) larger two of the calf bones |
| Fibula | Smaller two of the calf bone (outside) |
| Tarsals | bones that make up the ankle |
| Calcaneus | Also known as the heel |
| Talus | The large ish bone above your heel |
| Navicular | Bone in the middle of the foot below the cuneiforms |
| Cuneiforms | 3 bones below the first three toe digits |
| Lateral Cuneiform | Most inner cuneiform |
| Intermediate Cuneiform | Middle cuniform |
| Medial Cuneiform | Outer cuniform |
| Metatarsals | your tootsie bones |
