What is an organ in the Integumentary system? Skin, hair, nails

What is/is in the vertebral cavity? Contains the spinal cord
What are the sub-categories of the Ventral cavity? Thoracic, Abdominal, Pelic
What is/is in the Thoracic cavity? Chest (Heart, trachea, lungs)
What are the sub-categories of the Thoracic cavity? Mediastinum, Pleural, Pericardial
What is/is in the Mediastinum cavity? Between the Pleural cavities, "everything else" other than lungs and heart
What is/is in the Pleural cavities? One lung in each cavity
What is/is in the Pericardial cavity? Heart
What is/is in the Abdominal cavity? Stomach area (Spleen, intestines)
What is/is in the Pelvic cavity Bladder, ovaries
What do membranes do? Provide moisture which reduces friction, organize, and cushion
How many layers to Serous Membranes have? Two layers
What do Serous Membranes do? Line cavities, cover organs, and secrete Serous fluid
What is the visceral layer? Inner layer that is against the organ
What is the parietal layer? Outer layer, lines cavity
