Structures named for their "discoverer"

Structure NameLocation:
Duct of Rivinus Sublingual (minor duct)
Stenson's Duct Parotid gland
Bartholin's Duct Sublingual (major duct)
Wharton's Duct Submandibular (submaxillary)
Island of Reil 5th lobe; deep within lateral fissure (The insula of the cerebral cortex. An isolated or island-like part of the cerebral cortex consisting of three or more small convolutions at the base of Sylvian fissure.)
Foramen of Monro AKA: interventricular foramen; between each lateral ventricle and the 3rd ventricle
Foramina of Luschka The two lateral openings draining the fourth ventricle into the subarachnoid space at the cerebellopontine angle.
Foramen of Magendie The median irregular foramen in the membranous roof of the 4th ventricle, connecting it with the subarachnoidal space medially.
Circle of Willis Interpeduncular cistern: between 2 temporal lobes
