Muscles of the Scapula Stabilization

| Trapezius | Extends the neck, Upper fibers elevate the clavicle, act in elevation and upward rotation of the scapula. The lower fibers act in depression and upward rotation of the scapula. |
| Rhomboid Major & Minor | Adducts the scapula and aids in downward rotation. |
| Levator Scapula | Elevates the scapula and rotates downward |
| Serratus Anterior | Helps to hold the scapula in place, functions in abduction and rotation. |
| Pectoralis Minor | Pulls the scapula downward and forward, and helps to stabilize. |
