How is lymph fluid formed? Formed by the substances passed from the blood capillaries into the tissue spaces.
What are the 3 type of salivary glands? Parotid; submandibular; sublingual
Divisions of the small intestine Duodenum; Jejunum; ileum
Divisions of the large intestine Cecum; Colon (transverse, ascending, descending sigmoid) rectum
What are the internal portions of the nose? nasal cavity separated by the cleft palate; cribriform plate; septum
What are the 3 layers of the heart? Epicardium (outer); Muocardium (middle); Endocardium (interior)
4 electrical conductions of the heart? Sinoatrial node; Atrioventricular Node; AV bundle; Subendocardial branches (Purkinje fibers)
2 main functions of the lymphatic system? maintain fluid balance and immunity
Functions of the lymph nodes? Filtration and phagocytosis
