Insertions at Hip, Knee, Foot, and Ankle

Rectus Femoris Insertion: Superior aspect of patella, patella tendon to the tibial tuberosity
Iliacus and Psoas Insertion: Lesser Trochanter (2)
Sartorius Insertion: Anterior medial surface of the tibia, below the condyle
Adductor Brevis Insertion: Lower pectineal line of the femur and upper half of the linea aspera
Adductor Longus Insertion: Middle of the linea aspera
Adductor Magnus Insertion: Length of the linea aspera, medial condyloid ridge, adductor tubercle
Gracilis Insertion: Anterior medial surface of the tibia, just below the medial condyle
Biceps Femoris Insertion: Lateral condyle of tibia, head of the fibula
Semitendinosus Insertion: Anterior medial tibia below the condyle
Semimembranosus Insertion: Medial Tibial Condyle
Gluteus Maximus Insertion: Gluteal Tuberosity
Gluteus Medius Insertion: Posterior Greater Trochanter
Gluteus Minimus Insertion: Anterior Greater Trochanter
Piriformis Insertion: Superior and posterior aspect of the greater trochanter
Tensor Fasciae Latae Insertion: Iliotibial Tract
Rectus Femoris Insertion: Superior patella, tibial tuberosity
Vastus Lateralis Insertion: Lateral border of patella, tibial tuberosity
Vastus Intermedius Insertion: Upper border of patella, tibial tuberosity
Vastus Medialis Insertion: Medial half of upper border of patella, tibial tuberosity
Semitendinosus Insertion: Anterior medial surface of tibia
Semimembranosus Insertion: Posteromedial surface of tibial condyle
Popliteus Insertion: Upper posterior medial surface of tibia
Gastrocnemius Insertion: Posterior calcaneus
Gracilis Insertion: Anterior medial surface of the tibia, just below the medial condyle
Biceps Femoris Insertion: Lateral condyle of tibia, fibular head
Gastrocnemius and Soleus Insertion: Posterior calcaneus (2)
Posterior Tibialis Insertion: Bottom of the foot, navicular, cuneiform, cuboid, metatarsals
Anterior Tibialis Insertion: Inner surface of midfoot
Peroneus Longus Insertion: Undersurface of foot, medial cuneiform
