Anatomy The study of body structure.

Serous Membrane of the thoracic cavity is called the pleura and the abdominal cavity is known as the peritoneum.
Mucous Membrane Line body cavities that open to the exterior of the body. Keeps the area moist and lubricated.
Compact Bone cylinder shaped osteons that have bone cells cemented together.
Cancellous bone "Spongy bone" has crisscrossing bony branches callled trabeculae in these spaces is red bone marrow.
Rectus Abdominus Strongest abdominal muscle "six pack"
Diaphram dome shaped muscle that flattens allowing air into the lungs.
