Habit 4 Study Guide

QuestionAnswer
Win-Lose "I'm going to beat you no matter what" - Always trying to get ahead of others as well as being better than other people. Low in consideration... high in courage.
Lose-win "I always get stepped on" - you're insecure most likely, and you're not brave enough to stand up for yourself. Low in courage.
Lose-Lose "If I'm going down everyone else will with me."- Therefore if you cant win, nobody else can either. You don't have courage for yourself or others.
Win-Win "We're going to win together" - Balancing courage and consideration helps you feel good as well as others. Both courage and consideration towards yourself and others.
Depositing for other people (Deposit definition) When you do something for that helps the relationship, it's a deposit.
Withdrawing for other people (Withdraw definition) When you do something that hurts the relationship, it's a withdrawal.
Small acts of kindness Example of deposit to treat people with kindness.
Keeping promises Example of deposit keeping and showing trust with you and said person.
Keeping Confidence Ex of deposit- When someone shares confidence doing take that away from them.
Being Loyal Ex of deposit- Avoid gossiping/backtalking.
Setting clear expectations Ex of deposit- Don't leave things unknown, follow through with what's expected.
Apologizing and forgiving Ex of deposit- If you're in the wrong, ask for forgiveness, if they're in the wrong, forgive them.
