How did the boom and bust cycle impact agriculture during the Great Depression? Cotton prices dropped to 5 or 6 cents a pound. No one could afford to sell at such a low price and many lost their farms
What were some ways people tried to help those impacted by the Great Depression? Charities; soup kitchens to feed homless/starving
What was the name of the national government plan to get America out of the Great Depression? New Deal
What is Black Tuesday? October 29, 1929, day when stock market lost 16% of value. Sometimes thought of as the beginning of the Great Depression
