Lymphatic/ Immune

Lymphatic System is an organ system, in vertebrates that is a part of the circulatory system and the immune system.
What is the Lymphatic system made up of? it is made up of large networks of lymph, lymphatic vessels, lymph nodes, and lymphoid tissues.
Lymphatic vessels absorb excess interstitial fluid, transporting this fluid called "lymph" that ducts to drain into veins.
Lymphocytes provide immunological defense against disease causing agents
Once fluid enters the lymphatic capillary = Lymph
Lymph ducts Pace makers and initiates action potentials associated associated with the entry of CA2 + which stimulates contraction.
Thoracic Duct + Left Lymphatic Duct = Lymph Ducts The ducts drain lymph into left and right subclavian veins.
Lymph Nodes Contain phagocytic cells which help remove pathogens and germinal centers , which are sites of lymphocytic production.
Lymphoid organs Tonsils, Spleen, Thymus (Contains the germinal centers and are sites of lymphocytes production)
