| *10th Amendment | powers not delegated (given) to the United States by the Constitution are reserved to the States |
| *Expressed Powers | powers specifically stated in the Constitution |
| *Reserved Powers | powers set aside for the states or the people by the 10th amendment. |
| *Concurrent Powers | powers held by both federal and state governments |
| *Denied | powers neither the state nor federal government are allowed |
| *Federalism | the division of power between the LEVELS of government (Federal & State) |
