The Lymphatic System

lymphatic vessels absorb excess interstitial fluid and transport thus fluid (now known as lymph )to ducts that drain into veins
lymphatic capillaries smallest vessels of the lymphatic system. they are closed-ended tubes that forms vast networks in the interellular spaces within most organ
lymph ducts similar to structure of vein walls ( they have the same 3 layers and have valves to prevent back flow )
