Flow of blood

QuestionAnswer
The Venae Cavae The two largest veins in your body are the inferior vena cava and the superior vena cava.
Right Atrium receives used blood from the body
Tricuspid Valve Blood will be pushed through the tricupid valve from the right atrium
Right Ventricle Receives the blood from the right atrium and pumps it to the lungs
Pulmonic Valve Blood will be pushed through the pulmonic valve from the right ventricle.
Pulmonary Arteries provides blood to the lungs. Blood is circulated through the lungs where carbon dioxide is removed and oxygen is added
Pulmonary Veins empties oxygenated blood in the Left Atrium
Left Atrium Receives oxygenated blood from the pulmonary veins and pushes it through to the left ventricle.
Mitral/ Bicusbid Valve Blood pushes through the mitral/bicusbid vavle from the left atrium.
Left Ventricle The largest and most important chamber of the heart. It pumps blood to the rest of the body.
Aortic Valve Blood passes through to the aorta.
Aorta Where the bllod will be delivered to the rest of the body
