What does the abbreviation NKDA stand for? No known drug allergies
What does the abbreviation BID stand for? Twice daily
What does the abbreviation PACU stand for? Post-anesthesia care unit
What does the term licensed practical nurse mean? Trained and certified to provide basic care to a patient
What does the term ultrasonagrapher mean? Trained in performing ultrasound imaging on a patient
What does dorsum mean? the top of the hand or foot
What does the term sagittal mean? Divides the body in slices right to left
