Adenine, Thymine, Guanine and Cytosine are called DNA bases
Adenine always pairs with Thymine
Guanine always pairs with Cytosine
Apart from the 4 bases DNA also contains deoxyribose sugar and phosphate group
The shape of DNA is described as Double helix or twisted ladder
DNA was discovered in 1953 by two scientists named James Watson and Francis Crick
Our genes differ from each other because each gene has different arrangement of DNA bases
