Female Reproductive

TermDefinition
Egg The female sex cell. Are born with a certain amount.
Ovaries The two almond shaped glands that store and release egg cells and hormones.
Fallopian Tubes The tubes or passageways an egg travels from the ovaries to the uterus
Endometrium The bloody tissue that lines the inside of the uterus
Uterus The strongest muscle in the female body
Cervix The muscle at the opening of the uterus
Vulva Located on the outside of the female body
Outer Labia The outer folds of skin that mostly cover the vulva
Inner Labia The inner folds of spongy tissue that cover the openings of the urethra
Urethra The tubes that connect the bladder to the outside of the female body.
