Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) | Atherosclerosis of the coronary arteries that reduce blood supply to the heart muscle. | |
Atherosclerosis | Hardening and narrowing of the arteries caused by a buildup of cholesterol plaque on the interior walls of the arteries. | |
Ischemia | Insufficient supply of oxygen ot the tissue due to restricted blood flow to a part of body. | |
Angina | Severe episodes of chest pain due to inadequate blood flow to the myocardium. | |
Myocardial Infarction | Total blockage of one or more coronary arteries due to plaque buildup. | |
Congestive Heart Failure | Chronic condition where the heart is unable to pump out all of the blood it receives. Most common in the elderly. | |

Congenital Heart Defects | Structural abnormalities caused by the heart failing to develop properly before birth. |
