Anxiety Feeling of worry or uneasiness

Emergency preparedness Process of making plans to recover, respond to, and recover from an emergency situation
Evacuation Planned systematic retreat of people to safety in an emergency situation.
Evacuation procedures Step by step instructions on how to remove individuals safely and quickly from a building during an emergency.
Exit route Continuous and unobstructed path of travel from any point within a workplace to a place of safety.
Fire extinguisher Portable device that's designed to extinguish a fire
Fire Prevention plan Written document that identifies combustible materials stored in the workplace and how to control them
Fire protection The implementation of safety measures to reduce the unwanted effects of fire
HAZMAT Acronym of "HAZardous MATerials" refers to the materials that have to be handled with proper equipment because they can oppose a threat to health or the environment
Man-made-disaster Event that causes disaster by the negligent or intentional actions of humans or the failure of a man made system
Natural disaster Catastrophic event thatis caused by nature or the natural processs of the earth
Stress Body's response to threat or change
