Epimysium Connective tissue sheath around skeletal muscle
Fascia Connective tissue located outside the epimysium. Surrounds and separates muscles
Muscle fasciculi Bundles of muscle fibers that make up the muscles
Perimysium Loose connective tissue that surrounds muscle fasciculi
Endomysium Connective tissue sheath that surrounds each muscle fiber
Myofibrils A threadlike structure that is found in the cytoplasm of the muscle fiber
