What is the difference b/w MOA of COCP and progestin? | Suppresses ovulation by inhibiting LH and FSH. Rest are like progestin |

What should a pt who missed a COCP do? | take pill, and extra contraceptive precautions for 7 days |
What if less than 7 pills are left in COCP packet and they are missed? | start next packet and do not go pill free |
How long does it take to return to fertility in COCP? | 3 months |
What cancers does the COCP protect against? | Endometrial and ovarian Ca (and benign breast disease) |
