Integ.- Pathology

abrasion scraping away of skin or mucous membranes
decubitus ulcer area of injury and tissue death caused by unrelieved pressure which impedes circulation in the skin and underlying tissues, bedsore
laceration cut or tear in the flesh (skin)
1st degree burn damage to the epidermis
2nd degree burn damage to the epidermis and dermis
3rd degree burn damages all layers of the skin, may be no pain if nerve endings were damaged
