Dynamics The intensityor volumewith which music is interpreted.
Dynamics Markings Sings that indicate changes in intensity.
Pianissimo Very soft.
Piano Soft.
Mezzo Piano Medium soft .
Mezzo Forte Medium loud.
Forte Loud.
Fortissimo Very loud.
Crescendo Gradually increasing in intensity.
Diminuendo Gradually decreasing in intensity.
Double Hairpin A combination of crescendo and diminuendo.
Sforzando Accenting or stressing the note.
Classical Period A period in music that goes approximately from 1750 to1827.
String Quartet A musical ensemble of four string instruments-two violins ,a viola and a cello-or a piece written to be performed by such a group.
Symphonic Orchesta A large instrumental ensamble used in classical music that contains sections of string, brass, woodwind and percussion.
Sympony An extended piece for a full orchesta, usually serious in nature and in several moments.
Sonata An instrumental musical form in several moments, typical of the Classical period.
Concerto A form of music for one or more solo instruments and a symphonic orchesta.
Fortepiano The early version of the piano.
Soloist Aperson who perfors a solo.
