What year was the Magna Carta written? In the year 1215
What is the Magna Carta? It is a paper that made rules for the king.
When a government has rules that it has to follow, it is what TYPE of government? It is a limited government.
When a government has people to speak for them , it is what type of government? It is a representative government.
What did the British Parliament create so that people would have rights? It created the English Bill of Rights.
Explain what "taxation without representation " means. It means that the colonists thought it was unfair to be taxed without any say in government matters.
What is tyranny? Tyranny is the idea that a government can rule without worrying about the rights of the people.
What does it mean to boycott something? When you boycott, you stop buying or using certain goods and services as a protest.
