Terms to know for Powerpoint

Visual Display The Main reason to Use a slide show when presenting is so the audience has something to look at.
Place holder The name for boxes with dotted boarders that contain content such as text, a picture or a chart.
Slide layout How placeholders for text, videos, pictures, charts, shapes, etc. are arranged on a slide.
Transition The movement of a slide as it changes to the next slide.
Animation Controls how objects (text and pictures) move on a slide, and the order they appear on a slide
Bullets For general list of items when the order of items does NOT matter.
Numbered List When the order of items matter.
