QuestionAnswer
What is a monarchy? A government whose leader inherited his or her job. Most monarchies are ruled by a king or queen. ( Think; Lybia)
What is a constituational monarchy? A government that has a king or queen BUT the king or queen has no real power because another person or group makes the laws. ( Think : England)
Democracy A government that is run by the people.
Dictatorship A government that is run by one person.
Representative An elected person who speaks for a group of people
Elected Chosen by getting the most votes
Head of State The person or people in charge of a country's government,
Compromise When each side gives up something in order to agree,
Congress The part of the national government that makes the laws and that is made up of the House of Representatives and the Senate.
Minority The smallest number of voters.
Majority The LARGEST number of voters,
