the pericardium (or pericardio sac) surrounds the heart and is made of connective tissue
the pericardium is made to 2 layers and each layer is respectily made of a different tissue each, which are parietal pericardium; fibrous pericardium--
fibrous pericardium is... is a tough, protective sac of dense connective tissue: most superficial layer
parietal pericardium... surrounds the epicardium, and connects at the base of the heart the visceral (epicardium) pericardium.
pericardial cavity is... In between the parietal and visceral pericardial layers there is a potential space called the pericardial cavity. It is lubricated by a film of serous fluid.
visceral pericaridium is... epicardium
serous pericardium The serous pericardium consists of two layers: a parietal pericardium and a visceral pericardium
