| Tracheostomy | an incision in the windpipe made to relieve an obstruction to breathing |

| Kyphosis | abnormal condition of outward curvature of the thoracic spine |
| pneumothorax | collection of air or gas in the plural cavity between the pleura and surrounding of the lungs |

| CVA | the sudden death of some brain cells due to lack of oxygen when the blood flow to the brain is impaired by blockage or rupture of an artery to the brain |
