bronchodilator A drug that cause widening of the bronchi. any of those taken by inhalation for the alleviation of asthma
Pulmonary embolism a blockage of an artery in the lungs by a substance that has traveled from elsewhere in the body through the bloodstream
emphysema a condition in which the air sacs of the lungs are damaged and enlarged, causing breathlessness
pneumothorax collection of air or gas in the pleural cavity between the pleura and surrounding of the lungs

CVA the sudden death of some brain cells due to lack of oxygen when the blood flow to the brain is impaired by blockage or rupture of an artery to the brain
