How many months prior to separation should a follow-up interview be conducted? Complete follow-up interview at 3 months prior to separation date.
What worksheets should you complete for a separation and within how many days? Complete Career Intentions Worksheet, CG-2045, PCS Departing/Separation Worksheet, CG-2000, and PCS Entitlements Worksheet, CG-2003. • forward worksheets to SPO at least 60 days prior to the separation date.
If a member is receiving Separation Pay, which entry is required on the CG-3307? Complete CG-3307-SEP-21 (Acknowledgement of Separation Pay & Recoupment from Retired Pay) entry for any member receiving Separation Pay and send a copy to PPC (SEP) via email to” PPCPF-SEP” (in the global address book) or via fax to 785-339-3784.
How many types of Discharges and what are they? (a) Honorable Discharge, DD Form 256 CG, Separation with honor, (b) General Discharge, (c) Discharge Under Other Than Honorable Conditions, (d) Bad Conduct Discharge, or (e) Dishonorable Discharge.
How many reasons for Discharge and what are they? Enlistment expires. Service obligation fulfilled. Convenience of the Govt. Dependency or hardship. Minority. Disability. Unsuitability. Security. What are the three types of separations? Separations are classified as Immediate, Priority, or Routine.
How many days should an Immediate separation be processed? Immediate Separations, which must be processed in less than 15 days. Separations require four working days for processing by PPC.
How many days should a Priority separation be processed? Separations, which must be processed within a 15 to 30 day period. Note: If rapid administrative action is required commands (CO/XO) may request Immediate separation processing by contacting PPC (SEP) at (785) 339-3551.
How many days should a Routine separation be processed? Separations, which can be processed in 30 days or more.
When a member falls under immediate separation who sends the email to PPC and who should release it? Sends Urgent E-mail to PPC-PF-SEP@uscg.mil on Day One with pertinent information using the format provided in Exhibit 3.B.1.

True - TONOs/LOAs are now added by DCMS-831 (PCS TONO Funds Manager) if the member elects to relocate upon separation/retirement to their Home of Record/Home of Selection.

Position numbers are provided by the ISTT at the Coast Guard Recruiting Command.
Where do request to change a retirement date go for approval? Requests to change the Retirement date must be sent to PSC for approval and data entry.
Where do you document Administrative Absence and/or Retirement Processing Point Absence in retirement orders? Any Administrative Absence and/or Retirement Processing Point Absence must be documented in the Order Notes.
What tab in the Separation Order do you put any remaining leave balance? Notice that the terminal leave entered on an earlier tab is reflected here. Any remaining leave balance (subject to the career maximum) will be sold and included in the member’s final pay.
