| Pyometritis | Inflammation of the uterine musculature associated with pus |
| pneumothorax | Lung collapse due to air leaking into the chest cavity |
| Pediculosis | Louse infestation |
| Neoplasm | An abnormal growth in the body, most often associated with cancer |
| Myotonia | Abnormally prolonged contraction of a muscle |
| Jaundice | Malfunction of the liver causing the skin to turn yellow |
| Icterus | Means the same as jaundice |
| Hypospadais | When the urethra opens on the underside of the penis |
| Foramen magnum | The hole in the base of the skull through which the spinal cord passes |
| Ectopic pregnancy | A pregnancy in which the egg implants in a location other than the uterus |
| Diaphoresis | Sweating, especially due to illness or as a side effect of a drug |
| Comminuted | A fracture in which the bone is crushed |
