Card reader a device that tranfers data between memory card and
Device driver A device driver is a program that controls a particular type of device that is attached to your computer.
Gigahertz (GHz) Short for gigahertz, GHz is a unit of measurement for alternating current (AC) or electromagnetic (EM) wave frequencies equal to 1,000,000,000 Hz.
Linux platform The Linux open source operating system, or Linux OS, is a freely distributed, cross-platform operating system based on Unix that can be installed on PCs, laptops, netbooks, mobile and tablet devices, video game consoles, servers, supercomputers and more.
Mac platform Mac OS is the computer operating system for Apple Computer's Macintosh line of personal computers and workstations.
Malware software that is intended to damage or disable computers and computer systems.
Megahertz (MHz) (MegaHertZ) One million cycles per second. It is used to measure the transmission speed of electronic devices, including channels, buses and the computer's internal clock.
Mobile App A mobile app is a software application developed specifically for use on small, wireless computing devices, such as smartphones and tablets
PC Platform A computer platform is a system that consists of a hardware device and an operating system that an application, program or process runs upon
Peripheral device A peripheral device is generally defined as any auxiliary device such as a computer mouse or keyboard that connects to and works with the computer in some way.
Service Pack a periodically released update to software from a manufacturer, consisting of requested enhancements and fixes for known bugs.
System Unit The computer system unit is the enclosure for all the other main interior components of a computer.
System Utilities There are also operating system utilities such as antivirus programs, registry cleaners and system restoration programs.
