plantarflexion standing on the toes
abduction away from the median plane

pronation palm of the hand faces posterior
supination palm of the hand faces anterior
eversion elevation of the lateral edge of the foot
inversion elevation of the medial edge of the foot
circumduction circular motion of the limbs
rotation movement around an axis
medial rotation turned toward the median plane
lateral rotation turned away from the median plane
elevation to push or pull up (shrugging the shoulders)
