Hemolysis break down of red blood cells
Ischemia blockage of blood flow to organ
Phlebarteriectasia dilation of blood vessels
DIC stands for Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation is a serious disorder in which the proteins that control blood clotting become overactive
LAD stands for Lymphadenopathy: any disease of a lymph gland (node); used to refer to noticeably swollen lymph nodes; especially in the neck
BMT stands for Bone marrow transplant
NCAT stands for No cervical adenopathy or tenderness
