2 Major Cavities Ventral Cavity and Dorsal Cavity
Ventral cavities (front of body) include Thoracic Cavity, Abdominal Cavity, Pelvic Cavity, Abdominalpelvic Cavity
Thoracic Cavity Lungs, Heart, Aorta, Esophagus, Trachea
Abdominal Cavity Separated from the thoracic by the diaphragm contains Liver, Bladder, Spleen, Stomach, Pancreas, Intestines, and Kidneys
Pelvic Cavity Urinary Bladder and the Reproductive organs
Abdominopelvic Space between the diaphragm and the groin includes both abdominal and pelvic cavities
Dorsal cavities (Backside) Cranial Cavity and Spinal Cavity
Cranial Cavity Contains the Brain
Spinal Cavity Contains the nerves of the spinal cord
