A high profile inmate is an inmate whose case is causing high notoriety and may pose a threat to safety/security of the inmate or others
Examples of reasons an inmate may be considered high profile include Notoriety of the crime or charge Escape Crimes with child victims Elected/appointed officials Escape or security risk Criminal justice system employees Elected/appointed officials Any inmate designated as high profile due to special circumsta
The intake and/or release processing of a high profile inmate may be expedited to minimize contact with other inmates of lower security risks
A Lieutenant or higher authority will determine the initial housing assignment of a high profile inmate
The Security Committee will review the housing of any high profile inmate housed in confinement weekly
