flexor carpi radialis origin: medial epicondyle of humerus
flexor carpi radialis insertion: bases of 2nd and 3rd metacarpal bones
flexor carpi radialis action: flexion and abduction at wrist
flexor carpi ulnaris origin: lateral epicondyle of humerus and adjacent surfaces of ulna
flexor carpi ulnaris insertion: pisiform bone, hamate bone, and base of 5th metacarpal bone
flexor carpi ulnaris action: flexion and adduction at wrist
palmaris longus origin: medial epicondyle of humerus
palmaris longus insertion: a tendinous sheet on the palm
palmaris longus action: flexion at wrist
extensor carpi radialis origin: distal lateral surface and lateral epicondyle of humerus
extensor carpi radialis insertion: bases of 2nd and 3rd metacarpal bones
extensor carpi radialis action: extension and abduction at wrist
extensor carpi ulnaris origin: lateral epicondyle of humerus and adjacent surface of ulna
extensor carpi ulnaris insertion: base of 5th metacarpal bone
extensor carpi ulnaris action: extension and adduction at wrist
extensor digitorum origin: lateral epicondyle of humerus
extensor digitorum insertion: posterior surfaces of the phalanges, fingers 2-5

flexor digitorum origin: medial epicondyle of humerus; anterior surfaces of ulna and radius; medial and posterior surfaces of ulna
flexor digitorum insertion: distal phalanges of fingers 2-5
flexor digitorum action: flexion at finger joints and wrist
abductor pollicis origin: distal shaft of radius and the interosseus membrane
abductor pollicis insertion: lateral margin of first metacarpal bone
abductor pollicis action: abduction at thumb joints and wrist
