I: Trapezius Lateral 1/3 of clavicle, acromium, spine of scap
A: Trapezius Elevation and retraction (adduction) of scap. Upward rotation of scap. Lateral flexion and extension of head. Stabilizes scap for arm movement.
N: Trapezius Spinal accessory (CN Xl)
O: Levator Scapulae TPs of C1-C4
I: Levator Scapulae Medial border of scapula
A: Levator Scapulae Elevation of scapula. Extension and lateral flexion of neck.
N: Levator Scapulae Dorsal scapular nerve (C3, C4, C5)
O: Sternocleidomastoid (SCM) Sternal head: manubrium of sternum. Clavicular head:medial portion of clavicle
I: Sternocleidomastoid (SCM) Mastoid process of temporal bone
A: SCM Rotation of head to contralateral side. Lateral flexion to ipsilateral side.
N: SCM Motor: spinal accessory. Sensory: ventral rami of C2-C3
O: Splenius Capitis Spinal process of C3-T4 nuchal ligaments
I: Spenius Capitis Mastoid process of temporal bone, occipital bone
