President Executive branch of the national government
Georgia Supreme Court Judicial branch for our state
Congress Legislative branch for the national government
Supreme Court Judicial branch for our nation
Legislative branch the name given to the branch of government that makes the laws
Judicial branch the name given to the branch of government that decides/determines if laws are fair and follow the Constitution
Executive branch This is the branch of government that carries out the laws. This branch can also approve or veto laws.
Governor The executive branch for the state of Georgia
Mayor The executive branch for our local government (city)
City Council The legislative branch for our local government (city)
General Assembly The legislative branch for the state of Georgia
