5th amendment Used while arrested, which protects citizens against self incrimination, double jeopardy, and due process
6th amendment Used in court, grants citizens the right to counsel, a speedy and public trial, an impartial jury, and cross examination
8th amendment protects citizen from cruel or unusual punishment
