An adverb is a word or set of words that modifies verbs and adjectives.

whats is an adverb? An adverb is a word or set of words that modifies verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs. Adverbs
what are Adverbs of place? Adverbs of place tell us where something happens.
what are Adverbs of time? Adverbs of time tell us when an action happened, but also for how long, and how often.
what are Adverbs of manner? verbs of manner tell us how something happens. They are usually placed either after the main verb or after the object.
what are Adverbs of degree? Adverbs of degree are usually placed before the adjective, adverb, or verb they are modifying, although there are some exceptions discussed below.
