What is a bicameral legislature? It means that the US consists of two parts: House of Representatives and Senate
How many members are there in the House of Representatives? 435 members, who are distributed according to population growth every 10 years by the process of reapportionment
What is redistricting? it it the process of creating new district lines after reapportionment.
What occurred after the Tenn. v. Carr case? It ruled that federal courts could state position on conflicts over drawing district boundaries
What is the process of gerrymandering? It occurs when political parties draw their own irregular shaped districts to gain more advantages in polls
Packing is.. when politicians draw lines to include most votes of opposite party in order to reduce influence in other districts
Cracking is... dividing an opponent's votes into other districts to weaken their base
