Ethic Food A food that is typical of a given racial, national, or religious culture.
Soul Food Traditional food of the african american ethic group.
Food Norm Typical standard or pattern related to food and eating behaviors.
Food Taboo A social custom that prohibits the use of certain edible resources as food.
Kosher Food Foods prepared according to jewish dietary laws.
Value A beliefs or attitude that is important to an individual.
Status Food A food that has a social impact on others.
Staple Food A food that supplies a large portion of the calories people need to maintain health.
Technology The application of a certain body of knowledge.
Food Biotechnology The use of knowledge of plant science and genetics to develop plants and animals with specific desirable traits while eliminating traits that are not wanted.
Aseptic Packaging A food packaging process that involves packing sterile food in sterile containers within a sterile atmosphere.
