Heredity- the passing of traits from parent to offspring
Trait a characteristic that an organism can pass on to a itś offspring through itś genes
Purebred the offspring of many generations that have the same traits
Hybrid- an organism that has two different alleles for a trait
Offspring the product of the reproductive process of an animal. A child
Gene- the set of information that controls a trait
Alleles- the different forms of a gene
