Skeletal Protects and supports the body organs
Cardiovascular Blood vessels transport blood, which carries oxygen, carbon dioxide, nutrients, wastes, etc.
Digestive Breaks down food to enter the blood to distribute to body cells
Respiratory Keeps blood constantly supplied with oxygen and removes carbon dioxide
Urinary Eliminates nitrogenous wastes, regulates water, electrolyte, and acid balance of blood
Muscular Allows movement, facial expressions, maintains posture, produces heat
Lymphatic Picks up fluid leaked from blood vessels and returns it to blood
Integumentary External body covering; protects deeper tissues
Nervous Fast-acting control system of the body
Endocrine Glands secrete hormones (growth, reproduction, nutrient use)
Immunity Fights off infection and diseases
Reproductive Produces offspring
