| Naturalization | A legal process to obtain citizenship |
| Responsibility | Something citizen should do |
| Immigration | To enter or relocate to a new country to live |
| Diversity | Being made of different types, varied |
| Due Process | Following established legal procedures |
| Community | A group of people who share the same interests and concerns |
| Duty | Something a citizen must do |
| Community Service | Work that is performed to benefit the community as a whole for no pay, can be a punishment for a crime |
| Volunteerism | The practice of offering your time and services without pay |
| 1st Amendment | An addition to the US constitution that protects and outlines rules and guidelines to citizenship |
| Common Good | Something that is good for everyone collectively |
| Patriotism | To have love for ones country, a quality that good citizens have |
| 14th Amendment | An addition to the US constitution that protects and outlines rules and guidelines to citizenship |
| Equal Protection Under the Law | Individuals are protected under the law equally regardless of race, sex, age, or disability |
| Fundamental | Something that is very basic and used for more complex tasks |

| Consent | To give approval or acceptance to something done by someone else |
| Rule of Law | No one is above law, even officials must follow laws |
| Representative Government | A government in witch people elect other people to speak or vote on their behalf |
| Limited Government | When a government does not have ALL the power |
