Citizenship Rights and duties of members of a community

1st Amendment An addition to the US constitution that protects and outlines rules and guidelines to citizenship
Common Good Something that is good for everyone collectively
Patriotism To have love for ones country, a quality that good citizens have
14th Amendment An addition to the US constitution that protects and outlines rules and guidelines to citizenship
Equal Protection Under the Law Individuals are protected under the law equally regardless of race, sex, age, or disability
Fundamental Something that is very basic and used for more complex tasks
Principle A general rule assumption
Consent To give approval or acceptance to something done by someone else
Rule of Law No one is above law, even officials must follow laws
Representative Government A government in witch people elect other people to speak or vote on their behalf
Limited Government When a government does not have ALL the power
