What reduces the friction between the layers of the serous pericardium and is a thin film of lubricating serous fluid? Pericardial Fluid
What is the name of the space that contains a few millileters of pericardial fluid? Pericardial Cavity
What is the outermost, thin, transparent layer of the heart wall called? Epicardium
What is the name of the middle layer of cardiac muscle tissue? Myocardium
