ovary produces egg cells and female sex hormone
uterine tube delivers egg cell or developing embryo toward uterus; site of fertilization; also called fallopian tube
uterus protects and nourishes fetus during development
vagina female organ of sexual intercourse; transports fetus during birth process; delivers endometrial lining to the exterior during menstruation
labia major encloses and protects external reproductive organs
labia minor forms margins of vestibule; protects opening of vagina and urethra
vestibule space between labia minora that includes vaginal and urethral openings
