Click To press the mouse once.
Close To exit a program of file and close a window.
CPU Central Processing Unit. The brain of the computer that controls programs.
Desktop The screen or working area on the computer
Double Click Clicking the computer twice to open a program or select a file.
Flash Drive A portable data storage device.
Folder A virtual container on a computer, in which groups of computer files and other folders can be kept organized.
Hard Drive The primary storage on a computer.
Home Row The middle row of keys on a computer keyboard where typists rest their fingers.
Icon A small picture or symbol that represents a program file.
Key A button on the keyboard of a computer.
Keyboard A set of keys or buttons used to type information onto a computer.
Log Off To end a computer session or to exit the computer.
Login the act of logging into a computer or database.
Monitor The screen where information from the computer shows up.
