Who were the three Important Frankish leaders? Charles Martel, Pepin the Short, and Charlemagne
What was Charlemagne's goal? to build a Christan Empire
What was Pepin the Short's dynasty? Carolingian
Who supported Charles the Great? The pope and the Roman Cathlic Church
Did anybody help Charlemagne rule? No, he ruled on his own
What was the period that began between the fall of The Roman Empire and the beginning of the Modern Age? Middle Ages or Medieval Times
Where were the Alps? Southern Europe
How did Charlemagne make his empire larger? He defeated the Saxons and force them to convert to Christianity
Why did Charles the Great rule alone? The government was not strong enough
