| Cardiomegaly | Enlargement of the Heart |
| Artery | Blood Vessels that carries oxygenated blood away from the heart to various body structures |
| Pneumothorax | Collection of air into the chest cavity |
| Lobectomy | Surgical excision of a lobe of the lung |
| Hemostasis | Control of bleeding |
| Hemothorax | Presence of blood in the pleural space |
| Pericarditis | Inflammation of the pericardium |
| Cardiologist | A physician who specialized in diseases of the heart |
| Pericardium | A two layer sack around the heart that between the layers has fluid to lubricate the surface of the heart to allow movement |
| Cardiopulmonary | Pertaining to the heart and lungs |
| Lymphoma | Any neoplastic disease of lymphoid tissue |
| Rhinorrhea | Discharge from the nose |
| Tachypnea | Fast Breathing |
| Hemostasis | Control of bleeding |
| Bradycardia | Slow heartbeat |
| Thrombus | Blood clot that forms within a blood vessel |
| Myocardium | The main muscle of the heart |
| Carditis | Inflammation of the heart |
| Embolism | Blood Clot that travels through the blood vessel |
